Annual General Meeting (AGM)

Every year, between winter and spring, this democratic meeting is an essential moment in the associative life of En Piste. It offers members the opportunity to:

Each year, between winter and spring, we sow seeds of development, mutual aid, and reflection at our AGM Forum. This meeting allows us to:

  1. elect new members to our board of directors;
  2. to review the highlights of the past year;
  3. to inform our members of our projects for the current year;
  4. to discuss current topics with community members.

In the second part of the event, during the Forum, we continue the discussion, sowing seeds of development, mutual aid and reflection.

The Forum

This event, organized by En Piste, following its Annual General Meeting (AGM), is a meeting place for all circus professionals.
We discuss the challenges of the sector and try to find viable solutions that will evolve with us.

All our members are invited to make their voices heard and to interact with us and with the various stakeholders in the circus arts community! Not yet a member of the group? Don’t worry, you can still join us in exchange for a small contribution.

Call for applications for the board of directors

Do you want to get involved in your group and community life? Now is the time to submit your application in anticipation of the election of the Board of Directors (BoD) positions, which will take place online in the days leading up to our Annual General Meeting (AGM).

The Board of Directors is composed of 15 members representing three electoral colleges. It is important to us to have a diverse Board of Directors, composed of artists and professionals representing all realities from all provinces and territories. Terms on the Board are (with some exceptions) for a duration of two years.

Every year, half of the board members go through an electoral process to be elected or re-elected as directors at the general meeting.

To ensure a stimulating and dynamic democratic life, many of you from across Canada are welcome to submit your candidacy.

It is thanks to your support and loyalty that we will continue our development efforts for our community. We look forward to sharing our year-end review with you!

Application deadline: closed.
Online voting period: closed.

How to submit your application?

  1. Be a member in good standing as an individual or voting member of the organization you represent. (Make sure your membership profile is up to date on our website.) Please note that associate members cannot run.

  2. Send a cover letter and profile photo to info@enpiste.qc.ca.

  3. Submit written support for your candidacy from another member belonging to the same electoral college and send it to info@enpiste.qc.ca. For example, an individual member submitting their candidacy must obtain support from another individual member.
