We are pleased to announce that, thanks to an increase in funding from the Canada Council for the Arts (CCA), we now have a dedicated person on our team for the pan-Canadian development of circus arts! Anna Vigeland will assume a new role as Assistant for Canadian Training and Development.
A graduate of the National Circus School and the University of Massachusetts, Anna has been working in the circus field since 2007. As a part-time employee of our organization, she simultaneously maintains an artistic practice and is pursuing master’s research at Concordia. She is inspired by past and present circus initiatives across the country and looks forward to working directly with the pan-Canadian circus organizations, artists, and other professionals who are at the very heart of these initiatives.
Anna will be your point of contact for any questions related to pan-Canadian circus. She looks forward to collaborating with you!
