Last year, we launched our study on dissemination, which affirmed the importance of implementing a support measure for the circulation of shows and dissemination in all its forms, in order to structure a network and work on long-term audience development. And now, thanks to the support of the Conseil des arts et lettres du Québec (CALQ), En Piste will be able to work towards the realization of this wonderful project! Not only will this assistance support the development of circus arts throughout the territory, but it also comes at a crucial time to breathe new life and a wave of hope into our deeply shaken community.
More specifically, this project will include, among other things, fee support, the creation of mediation tools, professional development activities, and the promotion of circus arts to the public.
We will therefore work on establishing the project over the coming months and will keep you informed of the development stages. In conjunction with artists, companies, presenters, and partners, we will build a sustainable network that will foster exchanges and collaborations.
