The Board of Directors is pleased to announce the appointment of Nadia Drouin as interim Executive Director of En Piste.
Nadia Drouin has been with the organization since 2021, first as Project Manager for Destination Cirque, then as Director of Services and Community Relations. A graduate of the National Theatre School, she worked at CEAD and Espace GO and directed her own company, Théâtre Pluriel, with Michel Laprise, before discovering the world of contemporary circus and street arts in Quebec. From 2004 to 2018, she served as Coordinator of Professional Services, then Head of Programming at TOHU. She is credited with the creation of MICC in 2015. In 2018, she held the position of Director of the CINARS biennial. Her extensive expertise in the dissemination of circus arts led her to join En Piste, where she developed and coordinated the Destination Cirque program, dedicated to the circulation of circus arts in Quebec.
Her leadership and her qualities as an organizer and communicator are significant assets that will enable En Piste to move forward.
