The Doris McCarthy Artist-in-Residence Program of the Ontario Heritage Trust is inviting applications! Are you interested in spending one to three months in 2021 in a picturesque cottage with a superb garden originally named ‘Fool’s Paradise’ located on the Scarborough Bluffs in Toronto? Submit your applications by September 30, 2020.
This artist-in-residence program is open to professional Canadian artists who practice their discipline in a wide range of fields. To date, 37 artists have been granted a residency. The program encourages artists to embrace the multidisciplinary nature of the arts, to value the restorative influence of landscape and environment, and to foster excellence among contemporary artists.
