Building on the resounding success of the first cohort of the Emerging Talent Touring program, with Cirque Collini and its show Crew Wanted, the dawn of a new adventure is on the horizon! We are launching the second edition; a unique opportunity for an emerging troupe or artist to make their debut on Quebec stages.
Description
The starting point for circus touring in Quebec begins here! Organizing a tour can be a significant challenge, but thanks to the support of the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, En Piste paves the way for a new generation of creators.
We are looking for the most promising talents: a troupe or artist who has never had the opportunity to tour Quebec with their creation before. It’s an exhilarating adventure, a unique chance to shine and captivate the Quebec audience.
Launched in 2023, the Emerging Talent Touring Program aims to support and propel emerging circus artists in Quebec. The project offers an artist or a young company the chance to undertake a first tour, to perform and shine throughout Quebec. Supported by CALQ, the project fulfills En Piste’s promise to provide a platform for skill development and a better understanding of the challenges associated with organizing a first tour in the province.
– Application deadline: April 30, 2025
– Planned tour: 2026-2027
– Touring across several Quebec venues
Will you dare to embark on this adventure?
