Call for Projects for Emerging Artists in Montreal

31 Jul 2020

The Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, the Conseil des arts de Montréal, in collaboration with Culture Montréal, are launching a call for projects for emerging artists who wish to obtain a first grant from CALQ. This is the first component of the Territorial Agreement related to the Montreal Island community.

Emerging artists have until October 1, 2020 to submit their projects to the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec. The maximum amount awarded to the selected artist will be $15,000.

Artists and artistic organizations submitting an application are invited to adopt an inclusive vision by considering individuals from minority groups, such as members of cultural communities, Indigenous peoples, and persons with disabilities, in the development of their project.
