En Piste, with the support of the Caisse de la Culture, invites you to take part in Mon premier RIDEAU, at Québec’s largest live performing arts market. The annual must-attend event, RIDEAU, brings together 350 venues, festivals, and regional networks in Québec City.
Mon premier RIDEAU will allow three participants to fully dedicate themselves to the networking experience, in the goal of supporting the promotion of their show. Selected artists will also have the opportunity to explore the Marketplace, showcases, in-theatre performances, and be introduced at En Piste’s 5@cirque.
En Piste and the Caisse offer the three participants:
- Admission to the RIDEAU event (February 16, 17, 18, 2027)
- Accommodation for three nights for those coming from outside Québec City
- Travel expenses within the Province of Québec
- Support before and during Mon premier RIDEAU
- A training session with the Caisse de la Culture
Eligibility requirements:
- Be a member of En Piste
- Participating in the RIDEAU event for the first time
- Be an emerging circus artist in Québec
- Be available on February 16, 17, and 18, 2027
- Have a show or be in the process of creating a show for a 2027 tour
- Not be part of the official RIDEAU selection
- Not have an agent representing your show
Information session
An information session will take place on October 1 to present the program, eligibility criteria and the different stages of the support process. It will also be an opportunity to ask questions before submitting your application.
