En Piste, with the support of the Caisse de la Culture, invites you to participate in My First RIDEAU, at Quebec’s largest performing arts market. The essential annual event RIDEAU brings together 350 venues, festivals, and regional networks in Quebec City.
My First RIDEAU will allow three participants to fully dedicate themselves to the networking experience, with the aim of assisting in the marketing of their show. The selected artists will also be able to discover the Market Square, showcases, indoor performances, and be presented at En Piste’s 5@cirque.
En Piste and the Caisse offer the 3 participants:
- Admission to the RIDEAU event (February 18, 19, and 20, 2025)
- Accommodation for 3 nights for participants from outside Quebec.
- Travel expenses within Quebec.
- Support before and during My First RIDEAU.
- Training with the Caisse de la Culture
Conditions for participation:
- Be a member of En Piste.
- Participate in the RIDEAU event for the first time.
- Be among the emerging circus artists in Quebec.
- Be available on February 18, 19, and 20, 2025.
- Have a show or be in the process of creating a show for a 2026 tour.
- Not be part of RIDEAU’s official selection.
- Not have an agent representing your show.
To participate:
Complete the form before November 1st, accompanied by a cover letter explaining how My First RIDEAU will contribute to your career and artistic development.
