How does social circus promote well-being? How does it foster reconnection with one’s cultural and personal identity? How does social circus enable participants to recover and find their place in society?
Firstly, Cirque Hors Piste is organizing a round table on March 24th on the benefits of social circus for youth mental health, particularly during the pandemic. Four guests will present their perspectives on the topic, all moderated by Mariano Lopez, a mental health specialist.

Secondly, from March 25 to 28, a major youth gathering on the theme of cultural identity will offer a collective creation process, meetings, and workshops to over 50 marginalized youth from 15 communities across Canada! In the context of the pandemic, the event aims to address the psychological distress experienced by young people, as well as break isolation and allow them to interact and get involved in their community.
