The year 2020 was very challenging for everyone, including Cirque des Frères Collini, a company established in Abitibi-Témiscamingue. Following the cancellation of one of their only holiday season contracts, and already prepared for that day, they took the initiative to spread a little joy during these difficult times!
Last December 12th, the artists of Cirque Collini offered a unique gift to the residents of five seniors’ residences in Rouyn-Noranda. The residents received a visit from Migüel the camel, accompanied by Christmas elves.
Cirque Collini took the opportunity to organize a fundraiser for Leucan Abitibi Témiscamingue. The generosity of the visited centers and the public allowed them to reach their goal of $1000. This amount will be entirely donated to this cause that is dear to them.
The artists involved, Vanessa Collini, Julie Renault, François Bédard, and Benoit Racine, also took the opportunity to shoot a short film, which will be broadcast soon on their social media! Hats off (or rather, camel off) for this wonderful initiative!
