Connecting Circus Students Around the World (CSAW) is launching a one-year micro-grant program for American circus artists of color. A $1,000 grant will be awarded monthly from September 2020 to August 2021! Recipients will be chosen through an application process and reviewed by a selection committee composed entirely of circus artists and industry professionals of color.
Discover their wonderful initiative and help them raise $15,000 to reach their goal and support twelve circus artists!
Here are some donation options they offer to companies:
-Pledge to match a donation.
If an individual makes a donation of $100, $200, etc., you will be contacted and your company will be invited to match the corresponding donation.
-Sponsor a month!
As grants will amount to $1,000 per month, if your company pledged this amount, it would be your responsibility to secure one of the twelve months! Choose your preferred month!
-Pledge an equivalent amount.
Once fundraising reaches a certain amount (X), your company will donate that amount. This option is similar to the first, but you would donate $200 once a total of $200 has been reached, for example.
-Pledge an amount
If you prefer, you can make a donation of a different amount.
If you are unable to donate at this time, please help share and promote the initiative. Tell your donors, share it on social media, or with other organizations you believe are connected to this cause.
All studios that make matching donations will be publicly acknowledged on the Indiegogo platform, unless they specify that they wish the information not to be made public.
