Thanks to funding from the Quebec Arts and Letters Council, we now have a Digital Development Agent (DDA) within our team.
This position has been filled by Valérie Bineau, who previously held the position of Communications and Digital Strategy Assistant. Last October, she joined the Network of Digital Cultural Development Agents, a professional community of practice that originated from measure 120 of the Quebec Digital Cultural Plan.
As part of her mandate, Valérie will be responsible for supporting our organization and our sector in digital transformation. More specifically, she will focus on improving and developing our new website, launched in February 2020, so that it becomes an essential resource for the circus arts community. She will also be tasked with developing a sectoral digital strategy and then seeking the necessary funding for the development of the resulting projects.
We are delighted with the integration of such a resource into the En Piste team and congratulate Valérie on her new role. Our organization’s participation in this network, which involves some fifty cultural organizations in Quebec, is essential to ensure and support the digital shift in the cultural sector.
