Description

Over the past year, the arts and hospitality sectors have been among the hardest hit by the impact of the pandemic. We have to admit that in order to transcend these troubled times, we have to be creative and look at things differently.

The Conseil des arts de Montréal's (CAM) Gateway: Art at the hotel pilot project, created in collaboration with the Hotel Association of Greater Montreal, will pair five circus and street arts collectives or companies with five Montreal hotels of different sizes to offer performances to visitors from September to December 2021.

In a spirit of collaboration, the hoteliers will engage in a proactive exchange with the collective or company. To be eligible, they must have already presented a successful performance, ideally in a context requiring adaptation to the space, and have already received support from CAM in one of its programs.

The pilot project will launch on May 6 and applications will close on June 3, 2021.

Please note that this discussion will be in French, but you can ask questions in English if you wish.

Registration will close on Wednesday, May 12. The Zoom link will be sent to registrants by email a few hours before the event.
