For : people involved in the creative and cultural production stages, producers, technical directors, scenographers, organization managers and other circus professionals.

The course comprises four distinct modules and is aimed at all those involved in the various stages of circus creation and production. It aims to inspire workers, teachers and students - be they directors, designers, technicians or mediators - to highlight the power of culture in the socio-ecological transition.

It provides in-depth information on the main principles of eco-responsibility and the key strategies involved in eco-design. These resources are designed to equip participants, strengthen their skills and enhance their understanding of the responsibilities inherent in their respective roles. Equipped in this way, they will be able to move forward together towards more environmentally-friendly circus productions.

The following topics will be covered:

_Tame and understand the main principles of eco-design, eco-responsibility and the circular economy, as applied
  to the circus sector;
_Identify the levers for action that will enable you to integrate these principles into your professional practices;
_Integrate eco-design strategies into your creative projects;
_Identify building materials and techniques that have the least impact on the environment;
_Acquire concrete knowledge and tools to implement more eco-responsible production;
_Improve your communication skills to better relay and promote your eco-responsible your eco-responsible actions.

Since 2004, Jasmine Catudal has worked as a set designer in theater, dance, opera and circus. She co-founded OFFTA, then LA SERRE - arts vivants, an incubator for emerging artists. She was also co-artistic director of Usine C and artistic director of Théâtre de la Ville de Longueuil. She has curated a number of national and international events. As co-founder and training director of Écoscéno, she is committed to the development of eco-design in the arts.
