Sophie Picard
Sophie Picard has worked in the circus arts for over 20 years. She is an experienced manager who has continuously developed new skills over the years. She has always invested herself 100% in every project entrusted to her, with a vast range of experience in strategic planning, human resources, budgeting, international touring management, immigration, international taxation, and funding. Since 2020, she has collaborated with La Compagnie des Autres, an organization dedicated to supporting and encouraging circus arts creation. She has had a successful career, serving as production director in the special events department of Cirque du Soleil from 2004 to 2008 and from 2016 to 2019, as operations director at Les 7 Doigts de la Main for many years, and co-founding Cirque Barcode in 2019 with four talented artists. Sophie has also been a mentor at CRITAC, a guest lecturer at ENC for many years, and has collaborated with En Piste since 2011. Passing on her knowledge to others is a source of passion and fulfillment for her.
