On March 12, 2020, the Quebec government prohibited all events gathering more than 250 participants, which led to the closure of the Montreal Convention Centre, just days before the opening of EXPO-SCÈNE 2020.
EXPO-SCÈNE is Canada’s largest trade show for professionals in the audio, lighting, video, stage, and multimedia industries to see, hear, and discover new technologies.
The 2021 edition was scheduled to take place on March 31 and April 1, 2021, still at the Montreal Convention Centre. However, due to the current situation, the CITT/ICTS Board of Directors decided to postpone the event again. Many industry events were able to take place online. However, as the appeal of a trade show lies in its tangible and tactile nature, they chose to postpone EXPO-SCÈNE to 2022.
EXPO-SCÈNE 2022 will therefore be held on April 13 and 14, 2022 at the Montreal Convention Centre.
