Thanks to the support of the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ), training sessions at Le Monastère Gym are now free for all professional circus artists! Located in the St Jax Centre in Montreal, Le Monastère – Le Gym consists of 3 training rooms dedicated to aerial and ground disciplines: the Annexe in the fully renovated basement, the Hall bathed in natural light and covered with mirrors, and the Sanctuary – the magical venue for our cabarets.
“The arrival of COVID-19 and the inability for all of us to train greatly accelerated our project to convert the church into a creative centre for artists, and today we are proud to be here for our community. We warmly thank the CALQ for their support in this important part of the journey towards returning to venues,” says Rosalie Beauchamp, co-founder of Le Monastère.
Le Monastère Gym follows Public Health guidelines to provide a safe environment. To avoid overcrowding, artists must book their training session online only.
