Funding for the Distribution of Quebec Shows is Now Online!

28 Oct 2020

As we announced on October 2, thanks to the additional $50 million granted by the Government of Quebec as part of the Economic Recovery Plan for Culture, the Conseil des arts et lettres du Québec (CALQ) has been able to implement financial assistance for professional organizations presenting Quebec performing arts shows. This assistance covers the period from October 1, 2020, to March 31, 2021, and adapts to the applicant’s actual situation based on the alert level (green-yellow-orange-red zone) in effect in the region where the activities take place.

The subsidy granted will be equivalent to 75% of ticket revenues that could not be collected due to public health directives. You can now submit an application on the CALQ website, where you will also find a Frequently Asked Questions. Here are also some additional instructions to read carefully to properly present your data.
