Gatherings of 250 People Soon Permitted in Quebec

29 Jul 2020

“The entertainment industry is left wanting more after the government’s announcement to increase the maximum number of people allowed from 50 to 250 in public places, both indoors and outdoors, starting next Monday, August 3.” Read the article published in Le Devoir.

“This new rule applies to public places and not to indoor and outdoor gatherings at a private residence or a cottage,” the press release states. The limit for these private gatherings remains 10 people.

Public events hosting up to 250 people must also comply with established public health guidelines, “particularly physical distancing,” Quebec reiterates. Read the article published in La Presse.
