Artists, collectives, and artistic companies in Montreal have until August 17 at 5 PM to submit their application for residencies in the Accès culture network.
This residency is defined as “a period during which an artist or an artistic organization occupies an equipped performance space and benefits from technical support, allowing them to fully dedicate themselves to a creative project. This includes the research, development, or finalization of a work.” The project must take place between September 14, 2020, and January 31, 2021.
Projects that promote the inclusion and representativeness of diversity, particularly Indigenous peoples, racialized groups, and ethnocultural diversity, intergenerational and intercultural connections, as well as emerging artists, will be prioritized, and special attention will be given to projects that integrate community participation. The project’s execution must also comply with current health requirements.
