How to complete your profile as a corporate member
Browse through the different sections that will help you complete your profile as a corporate member.
Your profile is part of an online directory, so you have to stand out by introducing yourself and by presenting your organization's history. Write a summary of your organization's journey of no more than 150 words, in which you highlight your:
- Major professional achievements
- Best collective achievements
- Awards and honors received, if any
Remember that your history is a brief presentation of your organization and must remain short. Details of your history as an organization, such as tour's years and locations, show's titles, how the organization has evolved, should be in your portfolio or on your organization's website, not in your history.
Example:
Organization's History
It was in 1982 that Jeanne Quintal and François Blanchette founded the Grande Troupe. Both trained at the École de cirque de Montréal, they wish to offer shows that combine dream and juggling to the youth audience. Their first creation, Unicorns and Dragons, was a great success and quickly led them on the road. Happy accomplices joined them in the mid-1990s to give the company a new lease of life. Since its foundation, the Grande Troupe has accumulated more than 30 creations, presented on three continents, and won five Audience Awards at youth festivals. Today, the dream is still alive and, over the years, other circus arts and dance have been added to the delight of thousands of spectators who have seen its artists perform.
