A collaboration born of shared needs and a desire to work together.
It all started with a simple idea: Why not pool our needs, resources, and expertise to better support our members in their everyday digital lives?
That is how Flavio Cardellicchio, Director of Digital Transformation and Strategic Partnerships at the Regroupement québécois de la danse (RQD), and Matthieu Gagnon, Digital Development Coordinator at En Piste, came together to develop a program that addresses the realities of our two communities.
Because between managing a website, creating visuals, social media, data, and the new possibilities offered by artificial intelligence, digital technology is playing an increasingly important role in our professional lives. And because we don’t always have the time, resources, or knowledge to master it all!
“Les mardis du Web” is the result of a collaboration between two organizations that have chosen to pool their strengths to offer their members training that is accessible, practical, and tailored to their needs.
This first season’s program features seven online sessions, from November 2026 to May 2027, designed to help you discover new tools, develop new skills, and walk away with knowledge you can apply directly to your work.
From Canva to WordPress, including Airtable, cybersecurity, social media, and artificial intelligence, there will be something for every need and every skill level.

Cybersecurity and fraud prevention: stay alert, stay protected
Learn to spot scams, secure your accounts and respond effectively to cyber incidents.
An email that appears to come from a colleague or trusted supplier. An urgent payment request. A fake Microsoft 365 or Google security alert. A message prompting you to reset your password.
Cybercriminals are becoming increasingly sophisticated, using convincing messages and familiar scenarios to create a sense of urgency and pressure people into acting without thinking. Their goal is to get you to click a malicious link, disclose sensitive information, respond to a fraudulent request or enter your credentials on a fake website.
Once an account has been compromised, the consequences can extend far beyond a stolen password. Cybercriminals may gain access to confidential emails, organizational documents and personal information, or use the compromised account to target colleagues, partners and other contacts.
Learning objectives
This practical webinar will help you understand how online fraud and phishing attacks work, identify the warning signs of suspicious communications, and develop the habits needed to protect yourself and your organization.
You will also learn how to strengthen account security through better password management and multi-factor authentication. Finally, the session will cover the essential steps to take when a cybersecurity incident occurs, from containing the threat and limiting potential damage to documenting the incident appropriately.
What you’ll learn
- Understand common fraud tactics, including phishing, impersonation and other online scams.
- Recognize how cybercriminals exploit urgency, fear, trust and curiosity to influence decisions.
- Spot warning signs in suspicious emails, messages, links and fraudulent requests.
- Apply a simple verification process before clicking, responding or sharing information.
- Adopt effective practices for creating, storing and managing passwords.
- Understand how multi-factor authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of protection.
- Recognize unusual activity and other signs that an account may have been compromised.
- Learn which immediate actions can help contain a threat and minimize its impact.
- Understand what information to record and how to maintain an accurate incident log.
