On December 10, En Piste took advantage of the friendly 5@Cirque format, hosted at Cirque Hors Piste, to unveil its new website to nearly 90 attendees. Despite the storm, members and partners from across the sector showed up, once again demonstrating the strength and commitment of the circus community.
The presentation provided an opportunity to share the reflections and key decisions that guided the website redesign, as well as to introduce the new member portal, a central tool for supporting the development and visibility of our artists.
A website designed for long-term growth
The choice of tools, including Airtable and WordPress, allows for greater compatibility with partner platforms such as Scène Pro, supporting data circulation and increasing the visibility of artists and organizations. This architecture also provides a solid foundation for the future integration of advanced research tools and reference systems such as ISNI and Wikidata.
Designed as an evolving ecosystem, the website will be able to integrate new programs and features over time, while allowing En Piste to maintain full autonomy in its management and ongoing development.
The website redesign aims to provide greater visibility for members by highlighting their practices and professional paths, while also making it easier to build connections within the community. From an administrative perspective, the portal now supports credit card transactions and automated processes that streamline membership and provide immediate access to services, reducing errors and easing the burden of manual tasks. New membership applications are also centralized and reviewed through a dedicated interface, offering greater clarity and efficiency for all parties.

A splash of colour and experimentation

Nadia Drouin, Executive Director at En Piste, warmly thanked Collectif 4237, who brought a playful and colourful energy to the evening through their animation.. Developed as part of the Circulation de la relève program, this intervention allowed LABO to test their new animation in a real-world context, an experience made possible through the collaboration between En Piste and Cirque Hors Piste.
