Biography

After studying for 3 years in Applied Arts and Design in Roubaix, Amandine continued her apprenticeship in 2006 in the North of France by reorienting herself in the field of performing arts. She followed a multidisciplinary university training in Performing Arts at the University of Artois in Arras. In 2009, she was admitted to the Master's program at the École Supérieure de Théâtre in Montreal. She completed her studies in 2013 with a Certificate in Cultural Animation at the Faculty of Communication of UQAM. This will be the first time she will become House Manager. In 2015, after having participated in the 7th edition of the Festival Art Souterrain, Amandine joined Place des Arts and Tohu simultaneously as Reception Supervisor and Assistant to the House Manager to organize and operate the logistics of the events. In addition, she also helps the NPO Productions Kalabanté with the administrative management of the organization and provides ongoing support to the artistic director, Yamoussa Bangoura, for the development of his projects. In 2016, Amandine collaborates with Vincent Messager of Dolce Vita Productions Inc. to provide grant writing support. At the same time, she receives training in touring circus arts shows. With new professional experiences for this early career, Amandine manages to integrate in 2017 Diagramme Gestion Culturelle as an Administrative Officer and specializes in the management of NPOs. Continuing in this same vein, she is returning to school at the beginning of 2018 at HEC Montreal to complete her DESS in Cultural Organization Management and had it in may 2019. Amandine now has recognized skills in administrative management and accounting, in applying for grants at the 3 levels of government and in applying for immigration documents for foreign artists coming to Canada. Her first artistic training helps her to understand the characteristics of the projects submitted. Amandine is always on the lookout for new training courses that will enhance her skills.
