The distribution of the Emergency Support Fund for Cultural, Heritage and Sport Organizations

The Honourable Steven Guilbeault, Minister of Canadian Heritage announced, on May 8, the distribution of the Emergency Support Fund for Cultural, Heritage and Sport Organizations.
Of the $500 million provided by the Government of Canada in support of the arts and sport industries, $198.3 million will be allocated to recipients in the arts and culture sector through existing programs and to other cultural organizations that have demonstrated need, and $55 million will be distributed by the Canada Council for the Arts.
