50.9 million to support the creation and dissemination of the performing arts in Quebec 

En Piste welcomes the announcement made today by Quebec's Minister of Culture and Communications Nathalie Roy on the budget allocated to the cultural sector recovery plan.

Close to $400 million will be invested to assist and support the recovery of the cultural sector, which represents an addition of $250 million to the budget initially planned. 50.9 million will be dedicated to supporting the creation and dissemination of the performing arts. $71.9 million will support businesses and cultural organizations (including schools) in resuming their activities, This sum includes an additional $50 million that will be added to the loan program administered by SODEC (in French).
