The cultural sector retains its small amount of leeway 

"A great relief was felt throughout Quebec's cultural sector following confirmation by Minister of Culture and Communications Nathalie Roy that certain professional activities could continue despite the stricter lockdown. 

"We will be able to continue our training and creative residencies. A complete shutdown would have had a major impact on the presentation of shows. In circus, we have to ensure the artistic and physical capacities of the artists are maintained," explains Christine Bouchard, [En Piste] Executive Director."
