Campaign to support professional arts training
February 11, 2021

Have you attended a vocational arts school such as the National Circus School of Montreal or the École de cirque de Québec? Do you know someone who studied in the arts? Do you think professional arts training is important?

In anticipation of the upcoming federal budget, the CATF (Canada's Arts Training Fund), a collective of more than 25 organizations, has launched a digital promotional campaign to ask the Government of Canada to support professional arts training organizations during the recovery period of COVID-19.

The campaign consists of sending a letter to your local Member of Parliament, the Minister of Canadian Heritage Steven Guilbeault and the Minister of Finance Chrystia Freeland, expressing the importance of professional arts training to Canada's arts ecosystem and asking for increased support through the Canada Arts Training Fund (CATF). With a simple form that automatically identifies your local Member of Parliament, it will only take a couple of minutes!

Access the form here to add your voice to this campaign before February 19!

Together, let's make the case for supporting professional arts training!
