Update: Festivals and outdoor events - Up to 500 people will could be hosted in each of the independent sections

The Department of Health and Human Services is clarifying on July 2, some measures related to the increased capacity for outdoor festivals and events, which goes into effect today.

Until now, independent sections could accommodate a maximum of 250 people each. Now, for events with crowds that remain relatively still, seated or standing, but without assigned seating, the audience may be divided into independent sections of up to 500 people.
Also, effective immediately, the 3,500-person limit for festivals and outdoor events is increased to 5,000 people.
