En Piste draws on the strength of the collective to advance the conditions of practice, recognition, and influence of the circus. By collaborating with Quebec, Canadian, and international associations and networks, we act beyond the circus sector to defend the interests of the artistic community, contribute to major cultural issues, and support professional development, dissemination, and training.

Performing Arts Attendance Task Force

Created in 2014 following a RIDEAU conference, the GTFAS is a consultation table that brings together various cultural organizations. Its aim is to reflect, monitor, and implement actions to increase attendance and dissemination of the performing arts.

Working Group on Disciplinary Traffic

The GTCD brings together cultural organizations that offer programs that promote the development, influence, and circulation of the performing arts. Its mission: to encourage consultation, the pooling of resources, and the sharing of best practices.
The GTCD notably conducted a study on artist residencies in the performing arts in Quebec, entrusted to the DAIGLE/SAIRE firm.

The Common Front for the Arts

The Common Front for the Arts was formed in October 2024. Twenty-one cultural organizations, including En Piste, joined forces to defend the sustainability of funding for the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ). With clear demands—increasing the budget to $200 million, ensuring permanent funding, and introducing systematic indexing—the Common Front quickly submitted a pre-budget brief to the government.
