Regional Emergency Fund for Organizations Affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic

The Regional Emergency Fund for cultural organizations affected by the COVID-19 pandemic aims to quickly provide emergency assistance to organizations, whether or not they receive support from one of the Ministry of Culture and Communications’ Operating Assistance programs, and are threatened with permanent closure in the short term (six to eight months) due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The maximum amount of financial assistance from the Ministry can reach $50,000 per organization for the government fiscal year 2020-2021.

This emergency fund also aims to prevent the permanent closure of cultural and communication organizations, thereby keeping Quebec culture alive.
