The Cultural Sector Retains its Small Operating Space

A great sense of relief was felt throughout the Quebec cultural sector following the confirmation by the Minister of Culture and Communications, Nathalie Roy, that certain professional activities could continue despite the stricter lockdown.

“We will be able to continue our training and creative residencies. A complete shutdown would have had a major impact on the presentation of shows. In circus arts, it is essential to ensure the artistic and physical capacities of artists are maintained,” explains Christine Bouchard, Executive Director [of En Piste].
