The “Ghost Class” of the National Circus School

To make a living, the student accepted a job as a security guard. He was supposed to join a troupe in Switzerland for about six months upon graduating from school at the end of June, but the contract has been postponed until 2021. (…)

While the employment rate for the school’s graduates is \”normally 95%\”, its director observes a \”completely closed market\” and expects a recovery within the \”next 18 to 24 months\”. Graduates usually join circus companies in Quebec or abroad, cabarets in Europe, or cruise ships.”
