On October 1 and 2, the very first multi-site plenary meeting of IETM (International Network for Contemporary Performing Arts) will combine simultaneous participation in IETM’s online program as well as physical programs prepared by local IETM members in over 20 locations worldwide. For the occasion, Nadère arts vivants, led by Andréane Leclerc and Geoffroy Faribault, invites the Montreal artistic community to participate and collectively attempt to define, What Matters Now?
Following Montreal’s declaration of a red alert, the collective walk scheduled for the afternoon of October 1 will still take place, but with a reduced team. Live recordings of performances, speeches, and this artistic occupation will be broadcast directly on the Facebook event IETM Multi-location 2020: Local Meeting in Montreal.
The Newsround, featuring international broadcasters and local artists, will still take place online on October 2 at 1 PM and is free upon registration.
