The Conseil des arts et lettres du Québec (CALQ) today announced its three measures to help artists and arts organizations navigate the crisis and restart their activities! Here’s how the Council will invest the $46 million envelope allocated to them by the Government of Quebec.
1. Temporary financial support for one-off live performance dissemination initiatives for organizations. Applications can be submitted anytime before the project begins.
2. Grants for artists who can take advantage of the transition period to create more new works and pursue professional development activities.
3. The program Digital Exploration and Deployment, for which selected projects can receive funding up to $100,000, is now open at all times to artists and organizations.
