In order to be eligible for the subsidized rate, participants must reside in Quebec and either be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident,or hold a work permit (open or closed). In addition, they must have one of the following employment statuses: Self-employed individual or Support for Self-Employment Measure, employee of a non-profit organization or a company whose payroll does not exceed $2,000,000, recipient of Employment Insurance or Social Assistance, recipient of an employment integration measure, or unemployed.
Designed to develop acting skills, including stage presence, interpretation of texts, the possibilities of the voice, and other theatrical techniques. The instructor will guide participants to develop tools to create characters and develop their theatrical sensibility.
This workshop is for circus artists.

Alain Zouvi has 40 years of experience as a theatre and television actor. He has 14 years of experience as a director and 21 years of experience as a teacher and acting coach. He has been working as a voice over actor for almost 41 years. During his childhood, he rubbed shoulders with the circus world when his father, also an actor, worked as ringmaster.
Demonstrations and experimentation on how to play and approach a character.
Reading and adapting spontaneous acting to a text and learning not to lose this spontaneity.
Learning and exercises on listening, how to serve the other and the story in one's acting.
End of the work of the last session. Listening and working on each text learned by heart, comments from the teacher and from each participant.
