 Description

This course examines various revenue streams for music production, including sales, streaming, broadcasting, synchronization, shows and recordings. The aim is to provide a broad overview – types of rights, parties involved, funding amounts, etc. – to better navigate the complex music ecosystem.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be able to identify the various rights holders and better understand income distribution in the music industry. Artists will also gain a better understanding of how to calculate amounts payable and of the various stage and audiovisual applications of music so they are equipped to handle any situation.

This workshop is intended for artists and cultural workers.
