Description

This training is intended for circus technicians, designers and presenters: 

The training will teach best practices and essential circus safety concepts. It will cover the types of knots, equipment, various hangs, weights and measures, etc. In addition to equipping them with acrobatic safety tools, the knowledge acquired will allow them to analyze hanging situations, evaluate technical needs and be aware of their responsibilities in order to determine when they need to call on additional expertise.

A condensed training that specifically addresses the technical needs of each individual and allows them to review rigging techniques.

Course 1: regulations: the work code, public places; hierarchy of texts, civil and penal responsibilities, cables, straps.

Course 2: Physical notions: actions in structures: compression, traction, bending, torsion, buckling; angles and Y-suspensions; dynamic actions; pulley effects, force multiplication.

Course 3: Equipment: knowledge of apparatus (trapezes, ropes, fabrics, straps), knowledge of installation accessories (connectors, ropes, cables, straps), knowledge of anchors (structures, rings, pegs, weights), knowledge of safety equipment at work (harnesses, shoes, helmets).

Course 4: Techniques: Knots and mooring techniques, techniques for protection against falls from height.
