CALQ Award for Best Circus Work

Established in 2025 by En Piste, the national association for circus arts, in collaboration with the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec (CALQ), this award annually recognizes the excellence, originality, and impact of a significant circus work.

 

Born from the desire to recognize circus arts on par with other artistic disciplines, it highlights the creativity and daring that have brought international renown to Quebec circus arts.

 

The CALQ Award for Best Circus Work, accompanied by a $10,000 grant, has become a key event, celebrating artists and companies who push the boundaries of imagination and contribute to Quebec’s cultural vitality.
