Led by Hugo Hamel, a technical and production director with over 17 years of experience in creation and dissemination with various Quebec circus companies, this session addresses, in a structured and practical way, everything a well-designed technical rider can provide:<\/p>\n\n

“As a technical and production director for over 25 years, I have dedicated myself to the design, planning, and implementation of complex stage projects, primarily in the field of circus and live arts. My career has led me to collaborate with several international companies such as Cirque du Soleil, Cirque \u00c9loize, Cirque Alfonse, and ComediHa!, providing technical direction and production for original creations, international tours, and permanent installations. <\/p>\n\n
I\u2019ve also been involved in large-scale institutional projects, including the 375th anniversary celebrations of Montreal (835 performances hosted in one month), and spent over 10 years as Technical Director and Head Rigger at the Palais des congr\u00e8s de Montr\u00e9al, managing hundreds of productions each year.<\/p>\n\n
A graduate in theatrical production and ETCP certified in rigging, I apply my expertise to ambitious creations, balancing artistic demands, technical feasibility, and efficient resource management.<\/p>\n\n
