It will cover types of knots, equipment, various rigging techniques, weights and measurements, and more. In addition to equipping participants with the knowledge needed for acrobatic safety, the skills they acquire will enable them to analyze rigging situations, assess technical requirements, and understand their responsibilities in order to determine when to seek additional expert assistance.  <br\/><br\/>Upon completion of the training, they will be better prepared and ready to take on concrete projects requiring aerial installations. They will be able to install equipment safely and will possess the skills required to inspect aerial equipment installed by a third party. <\/p>\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Knowledge of equipment and various acrobatic rigging systems;<br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Acquisition of basic concepts in mechanics and load calculations;<br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of methods and techniques for installing acrobatic equipment;<br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understanding of acrobatic techniques and methods;<br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of live performance regulations;<br\/><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Acquisition of specific skills in acrobatic arts to meet the needs of the job market.<br\/><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br\/><strong>Methodology<\/strong>: This group training program includes both a theoretical and a practical component. It takes place at a specialized facility so that participants can explore the acrobatic equipment and engage in hands-on exercises and simulation scenarios. Instructional materials are provided to participants. Since 1989, he has worked as an artistic, acrobatic, and technical designer, as well as an instructor, for numerous circus companies (Cirque du Soleil, Archaos, Franco Dragone, CNAC, ECQ). In 2019, he joined the HUPR* Center for Research on Human Potential at the ENC as a researcher and designer of performance apparatus and environments. In 2022, he created the Camion d\u2019Intervention Artistique, an aerial performance combining circus arts and street arts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-small-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Photo credit: Marcus G\u00e9rard Milot<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 25%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Marcus Gauthier<\/strong>. His career path has been highly unconventional, beginning with breakdancing in the early \u201980s, followed by classical ballet and social dance.  <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Looking for a new challenge, and thanks to the Yellow Pages, the National Circus School opened its doors wide in \u201991. Finally, a place for someone with ADHD to the power of three ! The result: more than 20 years with Cirque \u00c9loize and numerous collaborations with Cirque du Soleil, Taylor Swift, C\u00e9line Dion, Neil Patrick Harris, the OSM, Marie-Jos\u00e9e Lord, Robert Charlebois, and many others. More than 30 countries across 4 continents\u2014and it\u2019s still going strong.    <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With a specialty in aerial arts, a career in acrobatic and scenic rigging was a natural fit.<br\/> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The last few years have been dedicated to both artistic and technical training.
