Montreal, November 21, 2023 <\/strong>\u2014 Nadia Drouin, Executive Director of our association, is pleased to announce the appointment of Emmanuel Rock Cyr as Project Manager for Dissemination, a position she previously held.<\/p>\n

“Emmanuel’s profound knowledge and understanding of the field, as well as his commitment to it, will undoubtedly enrich our collaborations and interactions with artists, circus arts companies, and our partners,” says Nadia Drouin.<\/p>\n

Co-General and Artistic Director of Productions Carmagnole for 10 years, Emmanuel Rock Cyr has over twenty years of experience as an instructor and trainer in social circus.<\/p>\n

He has collaborated with various communities, developing true expertise in teaching and managing development projects through circus arts. His dedication to social inclusion and individual well-being has been demonstrated in his work with organizations such as Cirque du Monde, Cirqiniq, and many others. <\/p>\n

A multidisciplinary artist, he juggles between performing arts and visual arts, disciplines he has greatly helped to promote as distinct art forms. He returns to Montreal after seven years of touring with Cirque du Soleil’s Luzia<\/g>. In autumn 2023, he will direct Cirque des rencontres<\/g> at TOHU.<\/p>\n

Emmanuel will lead the Destination cirque<\/g><\/g> and Circulation de la rel\u00e8ve (project in progress) programs. He will oversee the structuring and development of dissemination networks throughout Quebec, in collaboration with performance venues, markets, festivals, and other ad hoc events in Quebec, in addition to coordinating their consultation, networking, and mediation activities. <\/p>\n
