This began in 1991 in Addis Ababa. A small troupe of children with their teachers began performing before a sparse audience in the city squares.  <\/p>\n<p>Gradually, the audience grew, while simultaneously the small troupe developed its acts and virtuosity, eventually taking the name Circus Ethiopia. At the same time, other troupes appeared in different cities across the country: Jimma, Mekele, Nazareth.
