Nadine Marchand, Artistic Director of MONTR\u00c9AL COMPL\u00c8TEMENT CiRQUE<\/span>, was on Tout un matin<\/em> on Radio-Canada today to announce an “almost circus” version of the annual festival, which normally takes place in the streets and theaters of the Quebec metropolis in July. <\/p>\n

As of July 7, 2020, the festival will unfold in two parts. Firstly, unusual performances will be filmed Au hasard de la ville<\/em> to create a series of short films, which will be broadcast on ici.art.tv.ca, ICI Tou.tv, and ICI ARTV. <\/p>\n

Secondly, with Bonheur mobile<\/em>, an initiative initially conceived by Cirque Alfonse artists to brighten the lives of Hochelaga-Maisonneuve residents<\/a>, circus artists will, this time, animate several city districts, including the Quartier des spectacles. The roving performances will not be announced to avoid creating crowds. <\/p>\n

Finally, a contest, in collaboration with Radio-Canada<\/a>, starts this Monday, June 29, at noon! Enter for a chance to win a pair of tickets for Cirque Alfonse’s new creation, the show Anima<\/span><\/em> the farm story<\/em>, presented at TOHU in the coming year, a one-year subscription to ICI TOU.TV Extra, and two VIP passes for the 2021 edition of MONTR\u00c9AL COMPL\u00c8TEMENT CiRQUE. You have until July 31 to participate. The draw will take place on August 3 at noon. <\/span><\/p>\n
