In May, the Calgary City Council approved the allocation of $2.15 million to Calgary Arts Development (CAD). The money was set aside to support the recovery and resilience needs of local arts groups. (…)<\/p>\n
One million will be dedicated to the first phase, which is the recovery fund. The remaining $1.15 million is allocated to the resilience fund, the second phase. Organizations can receive grants of up to $50,000 for each fund, respectively. <\/p>\n

The resilience fund is intended for programs that arts groups wish to undertake in the future. It aims to create an environment for the arts to adapt and thrive in this new COVID reality. (…)<\/p>\n
The application deadline for the resilience fund is August 10. Applications for the resilience fund will open on the same day. Arts organizations can apply for both funds. <\/p>\n
