After meeting at the <a href=\"https:\/\/enpiste.qc.ca\/en\/member\/406\/ecole-nationale-de-cirque\">National Circus School<\/a> in 2016, the two artists founded their own company, La Croustade, in 2018. Projects were going well for the young duo: a contract in Switzerland, a research and development residency, and their first show planned for last summer for Montr\u00e9al Compl\u00e8tement Cirque. But that was before the virus intervened.    (&#8230;)<\/p>\n<p>After a few weeks of rest, the flame of creation was rekindled thanks to <a href=\"https:\/\/conseildesarts.ca\/initiatives\/connexion-creation\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Connexion cr\u00e9ation <\/em><\/a>[a micro-grant from the Canada Council for the Arts, in partnership with CBC\/Radio-Canada, to support digital projects].
