This year, the selected projects demonstrate the vitality and diversity of innovation in the circus arts: stage direction, acrobatics, physical theatre, aerial silks, slacklining, circus improvisation, creative approaches and audience engagement.David Ayotte, Alyssa Bunce, Julien Desforges and the La Croustade collective stand out for their bold initiatives, which contribute to the renewal of circus arts and to Montreal\u2019s reputation as an international capital of the circus arts.The artist or collective to receive the 2026 Propulsion Prize will be announced on 5 July at the 5@Cirque d\u2019En Piste event, held at La Trattoria in the Espace St-Denis. During this event, En Piste will also announce the winner of the CALQ Prize for Best Circus Work.
