KEY STEPS:

  1. Inform the trainer, coach, the person responsible for supervising the training venue, or any other individual overseeing the activity.

  2. Record the location, date, time of the accident, and the name of the person supervising the activity.

  3. Consult a doctor within 48 hours of the incident. The doctor must provide a CNESST-identified medical certificate and a treatment prescription. If you have subscribed to the accident insurance to which En Piste gives access, ask your doctor to also complete the medical certificate requested by the insurer.

  4. Contact En Piste! The person to reach is Alba López Pedrero: [email protected] / 514 529-1183 #1.

ADVICES:

  • Avoid training alone. If you get injured, you will need witnesses / supervisors.
  • Record your training sessions. If an injury occurs, having video evidence will help your claim.
  • Don’t wait to see if the pain subsides before consulting a doctor.
