Accident insurance
For whom:
- artists, trainers, fitters, technicians and riggers
- En Piste members in good standing
- RAMQ holders (or other provincial health plan or holders of insurance that replaces RAMQ).
In what context: your professional activities (training, rehearsals, performances, touring, etc.).
Coverage: this insurance covers total disability caused by a work-related accident.

Price: $26 / month (plus taxes)
- Insurance must be paid in addition to membership. En Piste membership does not include insurance; it is an additional service.
- You can choose the month in which coverage begins.
- You will be insured until December 31, 2025. You cannot be insured for single months of the year.
- Payment in one instalment.

Exclusions: fire scenes, cable work, aerial work, collisions, falls and stunts involving: blank or live ammunition, explosives, open flames, other pyrotechnic effects, animals, motorcycles, aircraft/helicopters or any other type of moving vehicle or watercraft.

Travel insurance
If you venture outside the country, you must have travel insurance. It protects you against any unforeseen events that may occur abroad, even in the performance of your duties.
It can protect you against:
• Emergency medical care costs
• Trip cancellation / interruption
• Accidental Death or Dismemberment (ADM)
• Luggage loss or theft
Cost: Plan between $50 and $100 for a one-month trip, and between $150 and $300 for a 3-month stay.
Admissibility: All members in good standing and their families are protected.
Liability Insurance
Under the law, we all have an obligation to not cause harm to others. We therefore must exercise caution and respect the rules of conduct as necessary in any given context or circumstances. If we fail in this duty, we may be held liable for moral damages, personal injury we have caused and, in some cases, forced to financially compensate for them.
This protection covers:
- Property damage to third parties
- Bodily injury to third parties

Property and Equipment Insurance
Covers the goods you possess, loan and are responsible for, are under your care and/or control, or those you lease and are responsible for.
Rate: According to need.
Eligibility: All En Piste members. Civil liability insurance is required.

Insurance for Expats
Full and flexible protections for our expat members (either foreigners who live in Canada or Canadian citizens or residents who work abroard), including health insurance, life insurance and disability insurance.

Property and liability insurance
As a circus performer, we have a responsibility to exercise care and good conduct. If you fail to do so, you may be held responsible and you will have to pay for the costs incurred. This insurance may be applicable in Canada (US and other countries upon insurer approval).
This protection covers :

• Bodily injury to third parties and participants

General Liability Insurance
As a circus artist, it is our responsibility to act with prudence and proper conduct. In the event of a failure to meet this obligation, you could be held liable and required to cover the resulting expenses. This insurance can apply in Canada and/or internationally.
This coverage includes:
• Property damage
• Bodily injury
Types of Policies Offered: One-time or annual
Price: Variable
Eligibility: All Canadian citizens in good standing are eligible.

Group insurance for companies and organizations
Companies and organizations can offer employees a group insurance plan that includes:
• Life insurance
• Short and/or long-term salary insurance
• Medical care insurance
• Dental insurance
The plan also covers an insured’s immediate family (spouse, minor children or students ages 25 and under).
Monthly cost: Varies according to the protection provided per the contract.
